Chippy tea, makes a lovely change when been working all week and getting in each night at 5.30 and having to make a family meal.
I know the feeling lol,Dont make it a habit once a week treat for you hard workers. I had freinds round and done a meal for them . Rice and peas with spicy chicken went down a treat

Yesterday and today ive made three huge apple crumbles with the glut of apples from our trees here. Ive given them to family and friends who can enjoy them.
I cant eat them as I used to be 18 stone plus..Im very careful what I eat now and have stayed at a steady 12 stone 10 since 2012.
Currently demolishing a large salmon salad consolation prize lol.
That reminds me Conan. Thanks. Masses of apples this year, although no cooking apples . Will get out and pick some more tomorrow, if they haven't all blown away !

Funny you should post that. Just had salmon and a homemade apple crumble. Free apples some currants drzzled honey instead of sumix.and a few oats in the crumble mix.
