The possibility exists, Edward could be buried with his first wife Elizabeth and Ellen may also be with them. Elizabeth must have died between 1911 and 1917, again, nearest age related would be Elizabeth Jones, Birkenhead 1916, age 27, 8a 632.
I would favour checking Flaybrick burial records for that time, if found, the plot and grave number can help reveal other internments.

Now discovered my Grandfathers Death Cert showing he died at 32 Warwick St Birkenhead on the 19th of January 1931.Aged 46.Now referred to Flaybrick Records as that covers 1864-1960.Hopefully he's there.

He is, Edward Jones, 46 years old, 32 Warwick St, Carter, Buried 23 January 1931 Section 17, grave Number 779. Also, Ellen Jones, 47 years old, Buried 8 September 1936 Catherine Ann Godwin, 3 weeks old, 1941, Buried September. David Lindsey Murphy, 1 year old, 1946, Buried September.
