Yes 500 staff going, and the staff that's left behind, the ones on the ground level that actually do the work. An not get paid thousands, have to pick up the slack and for that privilege we have to take a big pay-cut.

You don't HAVE to take a pay cut unless you agree. That's changing the terms and conditions of your contract.
