I have Brother printer which has stopped accepting the black cartridge
It looks like the retaining plastic holder at back of cartridge draw is broken
Is anyone here able to help please
Thank you

Super Glue ? I would imagine the cost to repair would outstrip the cost of the printer.
If you can see the break and the plastic bit try super glue. If the cartridge is not secure then your not going to get the print quality and possibly Errors that will prevent printing all together.
What's the make and model ?

HiMark Brother DCP130C
I cannot see any bits of the plastic holder for the black cartridge...nothing to glue...there are what look like fork holders for the other three colours
The printer is brilliant it would be a shame just to scrap it
A red warning light appears on the screen telling me to insert black cartridge although I have just put new cartridge in
The machine will not function in any way
Thank you
