This is the left- over Beef from yesterday (already fed five people, including a Hungry Horace lol). As you can see, going to be eating Beef for days........ Today, used some up in a homemade Chow Mein. Thinking a Roast for tomoz and a Curry on Wednesday. I reiterate- the joint cost just £5  Cottage pie is amazing when made with chopped up leftover roast beef. Similarly shepherds pie with lamb.

Tonight we had 'Cheesy Mash Surprise'- mashed potato with small onion chunks, mushroom sauce and grated cheese. Bung it in a baking dish, top with grated cheese. Bake in oven until the top is browned and the cheese is melted and bubbling. Accompanied with gammon steak and peas. Was delicious.

Potato Pie comprising of mash potato with bacon chunks, onions, mushrooms and cheese, in a mushroom sauce, topped with cheese and breadcrumbs, baked unti the top is brown and crispy. Served with Cumberland sausage and honey/ mustard glazed carrots. *My competition entry  in The Cook Off we're having.
