Discovered and kept secret in the year 2000, the book contains the Gospel of Barnabas – a disciple of Christ – which shows that Jesus was not crucified, nor was he the son of God, but a Prophet. The book also calls Apostle Paul “The Impostor”. The book also claims that Jesus ascended to heaven alive, and that Judas Iscariot was crucified in his place.

The Gospel of Barnabas is a fake work. The English version was translated in the early 1900's from the Italian version. The Italian translation could be as old as 1400 AD. No other copies exist, and there are no references of it from anyone before the 1500's AD.
This should not be confused with the Epistle of Barnabas which dates between 70 and 135 AD. The epistle may or may not have been written by the Barnabas of Acts, but it is quoted by early church fathers like Clement of Alexandria, who about 170 AD, stated the epistle was authentic. The teachings in the Epistle of Barnabas agree completely with the Bible.

The Gospel of Barnabas doesnt have to be "fake" to still be incorrect. It may just have been his personal belief that dead people dont come alive. Lots of chinese whispers going around promulgated by the religious leaders of the day who told others to say that Jesus followers had come and taken the body away.
In contrast you have the written/oral testimony of the other Gospel writers who say the opposite and put their lives on the line for their testimony that Jesus had risen from the tomb.
What it does lend weight to is that a person called Jesus Christ did exist. Which makes him either a liar, a lunatic or the Son of God Messiah(as he alluded to).

Maybe you can prove God is not real ? For a million pounds, of course. Hanky can, he's the great authority in study of archaeology, astronomy, linguistics, comparative literature, ancient and modern culture, mythology, morality, history of ancient Israel and Judah, philosophy, the Torah, the Quran and a whole load more.

Talking about a fake Gospel which is not an Ancient Bible. The Bible is made up of 66 Books divided between Old Testament and New Testament.
As someone said, if the copy of the book in the picture is real or of any concern, then why oh why would a metal paper clip be used to hold a page open ?

The Bible either 'speaks' to you or it doesn't. Suggest reading The Gospel of John, very slowly especially Chapters 14-17

In a nutshell, the message is to love God and humanity.

If you do not believe in God, a Creator etc, even Hawkins author of 'The God Delusion' admits that as a scientist he has to allow for a margin of error, and that makes him an agnostic and not an atheist.
