Anybody had people calling, no win no fee guys telling you that they may be able to get your council tax banding reduced for a 50% share of any refunds ?

We did a year of so ago . I looked into it at the time out of curiosity , and it looked ok far as I could see. 50% is high, and its something you can do yourself fairly easily in most cases, but some scenarios are a bit more tricky if you cant find a previous valuation for a certain year , maybe because the then house is now flats or something , or if youve no time or inclination to do the work yourself , then 50% of something , is better than 100% of nothing , and as long as you dont have to produce any money up front or anything, I dont see straight off that theres much risk .
