forgot to add that it's for a Mercedes A class 1.4 X Reg if that helps.

99% of the oil and filter change offers are a con.

Why are they a con? £25 for 5tlr of good quality oil, £10 for a filter and £10 labour. They also need to get rid of the old oil and filter.

because just about all the offers i see people posting up are the usual 10/40 oil as long as that's what is specified for the car and then lo and behold once the punter is in there they are then told 'oh no, you need a 5/30 etc and we are going to nail your hat on now'
