Blimey! That's BIG..... Would they kill it or throw it back. A bit sad if they killed it. That weight would have caused it pain ,when it was dragged out...wouldn't it ? Poor creature, don't like fishing. but......they deserve congratulations.

the fish will have been treated with the upmost respect, the hook hold treated with an antibacterial medicine designed for the purposem, as will any wounds or injuries. It will have only been out the water for a few minutes at most and its gills will have been kept wet at all times. It was returned back to its home to live out its days
