Loose / dodgy fuse in plug ?? Got to be a loose
connection or break somewhere !! Does it plug in back
of TV or is it hard wired in ??? Have you tried
" wiggling " the cable at both ends ??

we had this problem and found that apart from the main switch to turn it on and off there was another one that we had pressed accidently and this stopped us switching it back on until pressed it again have a good look around your tv you might have the same
