Just to add, last time our water was off (last summer?) for a couple of days that was planned maintenance and the provision was pathetic. I was taking water to elderly neighbours who were not capable of carrying heavy bottles from local supermarkets. I know for a fact that West Kirby were given more compensation but had less disruption.
United Utilities, the last monopoly.

JERDUBIG, You want to read what you see and be careful what you say. I am not a spiteful person but I dont like being accused of something I did not do.

If you are what you say you are, a full time carer, then make sure when reading medication instructions you dont do as you have done and misread what you see, there could be some awful consequences.

The water went off in Manor Bakeries factory too. I was in there on Saturday cleaning from 6am-11am, and the water was off by 10am. The floor is the last thing to be cleaned, so everyone who hadn't done their mopping yet was panicking like hell!

Good to know what happened. Hasn't there been a big water leak along Leasowe Road though? I was on my way to work last week and noticed loads of water gushing up like a fountain from a hole in the pavement, it looked like it was a major burst.
