Hi! Everyone.
Can anyone help me with my inquiry please. Way back in the mid 1960's I used to drink a lot with the lads in and around Birkenhead. One of my best friends lived in Camden Street Birkenhead, sadly he is gone and so is Camden Street. We drank in the still standing good old Crown Inn at the top of the street. However I seem to remember drinking in another pub in Camden Street, not the Conway Arms in nearby Conway Street. I thought the pub was called the Camden Arms, but I am not now sure. Does anyone remember Camden Street and the second pub in the area, which is now part of Conway Park and of course the Merseyrail Station and Vue cinema.
