Does anyone know why the police helicopters where out most of last night
Between Moreton and New Brighton. I heard it was someone missing, then it was a murder. Police had closed roads to the prom at N/B early hours.

Police by moreton shore last nite searching grass an asking if anybody had seen two men with a case. That was about 930pm

My mate was down there last night, and texted me saying it was to do with cocklers, coastguards where there aswell.

yeah right over my house for a while.

I heard they had closed the case..

They are looking into it.

Sorted Now, it was an open and shut case..

Police found the men early today

THE North West police helicopter helped direct officers to locate a man in a distressed state at New Brighton shore.

Concerned friends had alerted police after the 40-year-old told them he had lost his job and was going down to the seafront.

The man, believed to be from Wallasey, was located by the helicopter near Lincoln Drive at the water’s edge at around 11am yesterday.

He was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital for treatment.

Another SAD situation.
