Providing the weather is good eneough this bank holiday monday, me and my partner are planning on going out for the day. Somewhere on the wirral we can go (walk or drive to) spend the day, take the dog and sit down and have somthing to eat. The places we usually go to, when we get that rare day off together, take about an hour to walk round then we go home, lokking for somthing we can spend the day doing. Any suggestions on anything exciting we can do with the dog? what does everyone else on the wirral do?

I always take the dog to New Brighton, usually walk on the beach to the pirate ship then walk up to the derby pool & back over the dips.you can sit outside at the derby pool if the weather is nice & have something to eat & drink.

If anyone plans to walk to Hilbre Island, PLEASE make sure you know the TIDE TIMES and how to use them for a safe day out. http://www.deeestuary.co.uk/hilbre/plan.htmhttp://www.tidetimes.org.uk/hilbre-island-tide-times

Thanks for all the replies. We live in wallasey so we go to New Brighton a lot, I love walking round there. I haven't been to royden park in years, think I only went there a couple of times as a kid but apparenty its not exciting enough for my partner Loggerheads sounds great, think thats where we'll be headed.
