My daughter is in need of someone who can take a broken up double bed base, mattress & wooden tv unit to the tip for her. Eric wants £27 for 4 items !!!

you wont get it much cheaper , traders have to pay to tip.

The council used to only charge £20.00 for collection. I only realised it had gone up since reading your post!! It gets me wondering... What else are the general public going to get charged extra for??? Council Tax will soon cover the bare minimum of services!

I took a 3x sofas there this weekend in a large white van.
I explained I'd borrowed it from work and that it was domestic waste and they let me in, no problems.

you're meant to have a permit if you drive a van and taking domestic waste.
