Does anyone have details of the big stone placed near the Mariners on the prom. It is on the grass verge adjacent to the Mariners hill, almost opposite the Egremont sign post.
It is about 4 ft square with some kind of script, whether it is Latin or not we dont know, and a carved drawing on the top, any ideas?
