My great grandfather Joseph had a brother Samuel Dunn who moved his family from Buckley, North Wales to Port Sunlight over a hundred years ago. I tried to locate descendents via the Wirral Globe with no success (I did however locate another named descendent via my paternal line).
The family moved to PS to work for Lever Brothers. They got one of the estate houses which at the time must have seemed like winning the lottery.
I previously discovered that 2 of Samuel's daughters ( Nora & Gladys) married 2 brothers whose middle name was Murthwaite and family name Ellis. Both 'girls' died in the 1980s.One of the last known addresses was in Parkfield Road, Bebington. Are you related or do you know someone who might be. Eager to hear from them.
