there's some birds called 'waxwings' in the bushes/trees outside our office at st. caths but can also be seen from the car park behind the stein centre, just look in the tree with red berries on the corner of the car park by the metal fence.

for anyone who's interested

they're nice looking little birds, very photogenic.

There were about a group of 16-20 waxwings in the tree outside my house last winter. Thingwall area. They are so pretty.
Searching on the web seemed to indicate that the sightings on this side of the country would be most unusual. Winter Watch on BBC1 was speaking about them last week and because the phone rang, missed the bloomin' lot. somad

Never the less, very pretty to see.

Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.
