Got some sausages and bacon from a butcher in Birkenhead market today
The meat was nice
Really I prefer to go to a good old butchers where most meats are available
Can anyone recommend a decent place were they sell game ect?
Problem is most good butchers have gone now as the likes of big super markets have took over

A good butcher and game dealer is Brian Harris in Oxton Road,(LH side leaving Charing Cross) B'head. I'm assuming he's still on the go.

i agree derek massey in heswall great butcher,pb wont eat bacon or sausage from anywhere else.

there is the one in new ferry cant think of the name, its by the games shop on the corner, i go there for my barbie stuff

there is the one in new ferry cant think of the name, its by the games shop on the corner, i go there for my barbie stuff Edge's Butcher shop. Been there and in the samr family hands for about 100 years I think.

Hello Guys butchers invest plenty of years on their art. You would be amazed the quantity of information of different kinds of foods butchers have. Those mad a butchers should concentrate their rage houses.Thanks lot!!
