How come after she has been missing for only a few days, April Jones is considered murdered yet they still haven't found her body, but Madeline McCann hasn't been declared dead although missing for a few years? I truly hope that both little girls are still alive and will eventually be reunited with their families though

Could be the laws in that country are different, but I have always wondered why the McCanns were never accused of child neglect, I am sure they would have been had it of happened here.

Its neglect yes, For that they payed the ultimate price` The loss of there daughter, Why prosecute them` to deter them from doing it again? or maybe it would make some of US feel better.

Well they did leave her in the apartment on her own while they were getting pissed. Now if that's not neglect what is? children should never be left on their own, not even when their parents decide they wish to socialise,and drink, their were 3young childen, when one wakes up, all three are awake, 2drs should of been more aware,if that had of been in uk with say an unemployed couple from a council estate, they would have had social sevices on their doorstep to remove kids, and the media would of slated them, but it appears because they were GPs people were saddened, but harshly if they had stayed in or ate out with kids maddy would still be with her family, poor maddie its not her fault, your children rely on you to keep them safe.

I think it may have something to do with possible sighting. Since Madeline Mcann disappeared, there have been numerous sightings. So there is continued hope she may be alive.
Whereas with april jones only sighting that has been done is of her getting snatched and of a body being dumped in the river. Sad to say that is pretty damning stuff.

Only information i heard on the news was the snatching.

I think the Police have forensic evidence such as blood or clothes fibres to link April to the man charged.

It's safe to say the police know far more than they're able to reveal to the public right now, for fear of jeopardizing the suspect's fair trial. I just hope and pray that her body is found so her poor parents can lay her to rest.
