CCTV footage of women wanted in connection with Wirral burglary.
DETECTIVES have released CCTV stills of two young women they want to speak about a burglary in Wallasey.
Offenders broke into the flat of a 48-year-old man in Trafalgar Road and stole a laptop computer and an iPod.
The laptop was distinctive and officers have made enquiries in the local area and are keen to speak to the women in the photograph who were seen entering Cash Generators in Liscard five days after the burglary with a laptop computer.
The burglary happened overnight on July 11.
Anyone who recognises them or knows where they live is asked to call Birkenhead CID on 0151 777 2265 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
A male friend of mine had his flat robbed by two young women.
He met them in a drinking establishment where they came and sat by him, engaging him in conversation He was quite inebriated and they said they would go home with him, because they wanted to get to know him better. When he woke the next morning, most of his electrical items were gone, including a large television(so needing transport).

why is it MOST shops cctv is crap and you can't make out anything they look like lego heads.
Many shops fit really basic CCTV to comply with their insurance, and then never check it or even refocus it again, some are still using tape rather than digital, so you have tapes that have been used over and over and over again.
The other problem is storage, if you have a dozen cameras each taking high resolution images, that's a LOT of memory, and then if you keep it for a time you're using a lot of hard drive space. Depending on the shop the footage can be kept for days, weeks, months, I know some places that work on a 15 MONTH cycle, so now and again when you blow an image up you're going to get Ms Lego Head.
There are a vast amount of gypos, who have slowly crept in around the trafalgar road area, and to me these 2 look like them, every body BE AWARE, they have been seen on the back of people garden walls, looking in front gardens, and knocking on doors looking for scrap. Its no wonder they get a bad reputation.
