Gotcha! in fact...Beer brewing in eské Bud&jovice (or Budweis) dates back to the 13th century.[1] A few hundred years later, two breweries were founded in the city that made beer which they called "Budweiser," both being beers from the city of České Budějovice (Budweis), Czech Republic.
