But some MX5's have them stuck on there bonnets - So surely I could have one as a sunstrip providing it was reflective adn so on..

you can do as you wish matey but the law states that the number plate has to be on the front bumper and has to be sqaure on flat also if you fail to do this then there is a penlty to pay!! £30 fine and 3 points SO YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! hope this helps
