i've always sort of defended busies in randomnly pulling modded cars or young lads, because the chances are that it is younger people or people with modded motors that are more likely to be breakin the law etc. the way i see it is if youve got nothin to hide its ok, because eventually when they do start grippin all the scalls who arent insured, it will benefit us good people!

But on saturday night i got pulled in hoylake, got out the car straight away and was proper sound with the feller, but he was really awakward with me for no reason! he even tried to tell me i was doing 37mph when i knew he was behind me and was watching the clock at 30!
Then i got the window tint lecture and he tried to claim mine are if anything 25% when theyre 50%!
Also i was honest and said i'd had 2 pints of lager shandy, but he still breathelised me, and when it only came up amber he held his finger on it again just to "double check"
And to make things worse ive got a VDRS producer for my headlamp bulb! Aparantly your not allowed to change your own bulbs according to the police so ive gotta pay a garage to put a bulb in for me, just so i can get the stamp for the police to tick a box!
So it just shows that maybe i was wrong originally. i was as nice as i could be to them, proper honest and everythin, it was obvious i was a genuine lad but he jus wernt happy!
It jus shows that even if the cap doesnt fit, the police want u to wear it!

yeah without a doubt. there was 2 of them and one seemed sound. its just a few of them that get like power-freaks or automatically blacklist you cos youve got a bit of a sporty car and are under 50!

you can also get done for having fog lights on when it's not foggy wink
that really annoys me cos it's so dazzling mad

being a police woman or man is a job and someone has to do it im afraid. i know people who arent insured on cars and when you tell the police they do nothing. typical. but then wen they see us on the road they think we'rd the bad ones.

do they seriously think people like to modify their cars to get banned etc!? or even damaged? arrrggghhh

i dont agree with the absolutely useless laws when it comes to lights, y are neons not allowed. and y are interior neons etc bad when i know of some cars with the stereos illumination and dial lights etc are brighter than any under dash neons. Sat nav systems are definately more of a distraction!!!!!!!!!!!!!! neons are not a distraction. they are sweet. they shud prove their theories before they outlaw things, damn POlice

heheh, exactly. i have interior neons and if anyone gave me hassle for that id complain to hell. Cause ive checked myself and from outside you cant see em unless youre up close.

Vicky makes a good point, it aint like were gonna spend a ton of cash on our cars just to lose our license or crash ..... kinda pointless really.

I don't want to sound like a *******, but I work for the police as an office worker. I'm not a policeman, I can't arrest anyone, I just got the job through an agency and work with about five bizzie's in an office. I see and hear a lot of mad stuff, it's quite a cool job, and most of them there are alright.

If anyone needs any advice on anything, I'll ask in work, get it from the horse's/pig's mouth so to speak. laugh I can find out pretty much everything.
