Hi folks, I currently had a basic Sky box in my bedroom non-recordable/pause ect. i was given an old sky box which would of let me do the record/pause features but it's says that i have the wrong card inserted. Is there away around this at all? apart from buying or getting the box from sky?

If you have a Sky card which is uptodate ie you pay monthly for the Sky service then so long as you have a duel LNB and dual cable you can ring them up and they will pair the card and set the sat unit to record/play for free , believe it or not I did that today and within 10 mins the Sky box was able to record, if not I do know of another way with a Sky box 6100 details on internet.
