Don't forget if you listen in to certain channels you can be prosecuted. In the coastguard we have a dedicated coastguard channel and the MOD channel which it is an offence to listen in on.

Yes, the long and short of it is you're not meant to intercept
any message that isn't for you. However, it's ok to intercept weather, navigation or amateur transmissions.

any one got any local scanning freqs for wirral must be some new ones out now most of the shops have 2 way radios cctv
