So that's what it was? I thought there may of been another fire like the one on old Chester rd, that's what it was last time when the warehouse by the petrol stn went up.

They were some of the loudest bangs I have ever heard in my life! Sounded like
they were coming from Rock Ferry or the Mersey Waterfront area . Can anyone say
were they were from exactly ? I really need to know !!

It was rock ferry, tried to take pics on my way out but couldn t get it zoomed in enough.
it was spectacular.

were they were from exactly ? I really need to know !! Im in Rock Ferry and from here they looked like they were from Liverpool, I had a clear view from the top of Bedford Road. Extremely loud, I dont recall fireworks on bonfire night being that loud.

i heard them too! really loud! txt my son (he's by the river)and he said it was fireworks, i thought it was someone moving a wheelie bin, then i thought thunder! s'pose it will be for the destroyer HMS Dragon that's in Liverpool, it leaves tomorrow.

Just found this on the Liverpool Echo site. The Liverpool Festival Gardens had an event on today, which was finishing with a firework display.

yeh i'm thinking more like HMS dragon firing it's guns rather than a firework display.

There were definitely fireworks going off at the same time, we saw them over the top of the old tip at the bottom of Bolton Road East
