was just on my way home along birkenhead park
and the police helicopter telling people to look out
for a young girl in a pink dress lots of police cars
i hope they have found her safe and well
distressing time for the family though

i think the park will be busy with the kids being off so hopefully someone will spot her, have they given an age?

well i got the impression she was a toddler cant be sure was hard to hear what the police helicopter was saying to be honest
all i caught was young girl in pink dress

There is a 2 year old girl gone missing, police are wiaiting for parents to report her missing apparently after knocking on my friends door and asking if if she knew who the little girl belonged to near Birkenhead park,

That sounds like a two year old has been found but not reported missing by anyone????

unless the police are really clever now the child must of been reported missing if the helicoptor was out looking for her

otherwise how would the police give the description out
to look for

I was flagged down on Craven Street by a police officer this morning (approx 9.30) asking if I knew where she lived as she had been found. I concur that the police were saying she was only 2 years old (I was given a name also, but think it inappropriate to post).
I'm pleased they've managed to locate her parent(s).

Wirral Globe reports the child's mother is being held for 'Child Neglect'. Probably be re-united with the child by social workers,given help to cope. god forbid she should be deprived of a source of income, makes me sick.
