Apologies that this is not a digital topic.
My carriage clock is broken and I have tried a couple of clock repairers who are unable to fix it but before I give up I wondered if maybe some type of electrical appliance repairer could help. The clock runs off a 1.5 battery and one of the battery retainer terminals has snapped and needs to be replaced.
Can anyone help?

Thanks for your reply, ianyam, but I tried there and he couldn't help. But, fingers crossed, I think that DD is going to sort it.

For future ref, just had my "ships" clock repaired in the Birkenhead Market clock man's place. It is clockwork though not electric. He has all the gear though so probably does the lot, or farms it out to a third party, who knows.
