I also have many books 'acquired' off the internet. Any sharing is strictly speaking not legal (only mentioning it so you are aware)
Derek - you can get books from Wirral library online and download to your Kindle - cleverly they expire after the usual 3 weeks that library book would have to be re-newed.
Re - charging. I've only charged mine twice since Christmas and one of those was the initial charge.

I've got about 1500 books so far. There's still some I'm after but I very much doubt anyone will have them (unless they're a Crab or fellow rotor porn nut).
Mine are mainly horror & crime/pathology thrillers along the lines of Mark Billingham et al plus a few obscure ones.
Sometimes Police Officers give more than just speeding tickets!
