Always on the search for excellent pies. Where is the Griffiths shop - that sounds like a keeper.
There is a brilliant maker of pies in Frodsham.
There used to be pies available in the New Brighton cafe opposite the Kwik/Co-op. We used to call them jelly pies because they didn't have a pastry top but were filled with set pie (aspic) jelly. Don't know where to get them now.

Chicken thighs a la KFC but home made. Greek beans in tomato sauce, also home made, and tricolour pasta wheels with cheese sauce. Using what we've got in.

Don't know where to get them now. griffiths is in new ferry precinct , bebington road , best chicken and ham pies .Try Pearson the butchers for pork pies

I'm trying to clear the freezer out, so tonight's dinner is pork & black pudding sausage toad in the hole with real mushroom gravy (i.e. roux & stock, not packet shoite, with sliced mushrooms in it). After walking the dog, I am freezing so needed warming comfort food 
Sometimes Police Officers give more than just speeding tickets!

Late replying, sorry...........Homemade roast vegetable soup (nice and thick) and lovely fresh bread hey how you make your homemade soup. all nice wiki peeps love to share recipies and we will give a feed back. thats wiki spirit i say  going to try the chicken curry for Friday for my get togther for a wiki evening  Night June x
