Would anyone have any tips for putting a rear drum back on a ford ka? I've removed it using the 30mm hub nut and can't get the bugger back on over the brake shoes (it slid off quite easily). Is there a trick to do this? as I can't imagine it being that difficult for a servicable part. Can you adjust the shoes to bring them in closer to slip the drum over the top?
Thanks.

You need to release the auto adjust, think it is like two sets of teeth that ratchet together.

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. Its a while since I attacked a ka - I deleted some of what I said because I think you attack from the front. This picture HERE has the auto-adjust at the bottom, the two edges that ratchet together
