Hi! I wonder if the ladies here could recommend a really good hairdresser's for me please? I've been going to the same one for years and I'm looking for a change.

Must be up to date with current fashions, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. And also local please, (I live in Wallasey off King Street, so within 3 miles is ideal.)

Any personal recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hello hun
I'm a mobile hairdresser and has been for 8 years, worked in and out ov shops but my best place is Paulas Hair World off singleton ave in tranmere.

paula had been hairdressing for 25 years and she is fantastic.
All her staff are brill and I would recomend everyone to go there, most people who I have told about her will not go with anyone eles.

Hairdressing is a huge market,so many good and bad places out there but that's my imput, hope it helps you smile

There's a great one in Upton, think it's called Essentials maybe? Anyway not that local but worth a trip on the bus. Very good prices, and the girls and kind and they listen to what you want. They always seem busy but I have never had any problems getting an appointment even at short notice.

Rococco in Liscard Road (Michelle),top of Church St. She is my son's partner and I know that ladies travel from far and wide to get their hair done by her.

one thing for sure, there is no shortage of hairdressers around these days, while the country crashes, people still need to get a hair cut!

My missis uses Setz in wallasey village and my sis uses Junes in new brighton.

Dont know about prices as women's hair dressers are so expensive. I paid £6.50 to get my wig chopped. did a nice job too.
