Yes i have already got xmas stock in but the lights should still come on nearer to xmas to give that xmasy feel how`s your head now rude

I put our tree up on the nearest week end to 10 dec then i can start getting into the swing of xmas

ah xmas im working 4am til 2pm then bed no xmas meal 4 me woohoo. Dr who will be sky+ and may be up if theres a royle family lol

Caroline Aherne couldn't write a script in time. Apparantly she often leaves it lateish, but this year was far too late for filming and for others schedules, and couldnt be done on time. So no Royal Family Special this year.

CELEBRITY hairdresser Herbert will start Moreton’s
countdown to the festive season on Saturday. The flamboyant stylist will switch on the
Christmas lights at 5pm by the Coach and Horses
Pub. This is the seventh successive year Moreton will
be lit for Christmas after several years without
lights earlier in the decade. Local Councillor Chris Blakeley said, “It was in
December 2004 when a small group of dedicated
Moreton residents came together to raise funds,
purchase lights and make sure Moreton was not
left out. “Some of the faces have changed in that time but
the commitment to make it happen year on year
remains, and I am delighted to be able to support
them.” The Moreton lights group, led by residents
including Angela Pouncey and supported by local
councillors, must raise around £6,000 every year. There will be music in the Coach and Horses
between 4pm and 6pm, courtesy of Mark from
XLNights Disco. The lights switch-on will be followed by a small
buffet in the pub.

The xmas lights in towns go on far too early, 1st dec should be the earliest, xmas in november is just a pain,takes away all the xmas spirit, they leave the lights on all night why waste electricity ? im sure they could switch them off at say 1am when its gone quiet, sometimes moreton ights have been on all day just a waste of electricity,

I put my lights up the first weekend of Dec, but im bored of them by the 27th so they often come down then,
