Hello, I wonder if you can help me, I have a 2 year old cross staff and she is absolutely gorgeous, well loved and genuinely kind natured, however she has recently started showing signs of aggresion towards certain people and has now bitten one dog and quite badly attacked another, we can no longer keep her as we have a 1 1/2 year old and I can no longer trust her around my daughter. I DONT want to get her put down, and dont want her to end up in the kennels, is there anyone who would rehome a dog with aggresive tendencies?x

just do your homework before you give her away coz theres so many lads who would use her for dog fighting or bait! you could put a card up in your local vets someone may point you in the right direction as she'd need a special kind of home and owner, goodluck and your doing the right thing
The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

Have a look at Cesar Milan's books which may give you pointers as to why she is displaying the aggressive behaviour. Is she insured? Have you considered a professional such as an animal psychologist?

i know june, shes been so amazing since we got her, and all of a sudden has just started to show signs of aggresion, its really upsetting, if i didnt have my daughter i would happily keep her and try and train her out of it, its just i cant risk her unpredictable behaviour around my baby!... I may try a phsycologist, thats an idea i didnt think of. There has got to be a reason shes acting this way, i just dont know what it is, we walk her daily, she gets lots of love and attention.. Its very sad, i dont want her to hurt any more animals, and if she does there is a risk she could be put down which i definiately dont want!!

Maybe when you do take her out a walk i would put a muzzle on her, just saying as she has become agressive and you got think of other dogs in case ahe attacks. i will try and find out for you if there can be a way she can overcome this.

My neighbour has 2 staffies, both bitches. Believe it or not, they get pre menstrual and have had some horrendous fights when they are due in season. She now keeps them separate much of the time and will get them spayed when she can afford it - that may be something worth looking into as an option?
