Hiya, hope I haven't posted in the wrong section. I am in need of a small car...around a 1.0 or 1.2l. Would like a corsa, clio, punto, fiesta etc and not too many miles on the clock. 5 doors also as my baby will be going in it. If you know of or have one for sale let me know please...nothing over £2k. x

Don't buy a corsa with a 3 cylinder engine.

Just a heads up wink

Its a 1.2 club...so nothing exciting. We did have a 1.4 sri but the emu light was on and over 2 years it never got fixed and was becoming dangerous...especially since I had the baby. I know nowt about cars, nor does my hubby...so its pretty much useless us going to look at cars and I dont know any mechanics.

What in the stores?? As long as you don't over do the engine ( driving up and down the motorway, fully laden ) then they are fine.

They are shit, end of!

Even if what you have put was the case (which it isn`t) then who the hell would want to buy a car they constantly had to worry about and couldn`t use to it`s full potential anyway?

We are in the motor trade, we know what we are on about and they are shite!

It's a small town car(fact) not designed for regular long distance motorway use. The 1.2. is what do you drive?

I drive a 2.3 turbo Saab, a 2.0 litre Astra gsi and a 2.5 e30, what's that got to do with it?
I have plenty of experience with these corsas as I work in a garage.

Even get old dears bringing them in with 45-60k on the clock having problems, in fact one of the lads in our yard had to replace an engine in one a few months back and it had only done about 53k.

Theres still not much difference between the 1.0 and the 1.2, can you think anything the 1.2 suffers from that the 1.0 doesn't ( bar a missfire on cylinder 4 tease )
