If anyone has pictures of the surrounding streets, they would be great to see as well. Hope Street, Keightley Street, Beckwith Street, just some of the nearby streets.
I would just like some idea what the area looked like.

The pictures are fascinating to me, they are of an area that I didn't know, never went to or thought I may have had a connection to.
It's only through researching my family history, I now know it's where my Grandfather was born.

My Family were born/died at 8 Wilton Street between approx. 1916 and 1947, I used to go there as a child up to 1947, I can only just remember the street, but sadly I don't have any pictures. Regards

By a strange coincidence,the 1871 Census shows my Grandfathers family living at 8 Wilton Street.
The Census returns for 1881,1891 and 1901 show them at number3.
I would love to see a photo of the road.
