The Chimneys in 2003. It's actually in Hooton Green, on the corner of New Chester Road, Hooton - easy to miss behind the trees. So, look for the sign to Hooton Station (in Hooton Rd) and you'll find Hooton Green on the opposite side of New Chester Road, across the traffic lights. One of the first places I know of that went for seperate smoking and non-smoking areas, becoming fully non-smoking at about the same time as the Ring o' Bells in Caldy.
This used to be a very expensive eating place which you could hardly see over a very tall sandstone wall, just the roof line and of course the chimneys.
