The Nelson in Grove Road has a good general knowledge one on a Wednesday.
It starts between 9 and 9.30. Best get there for 9.15 to be sure.

Thanks for all your comments guys!! First, my specialist subject is currently potty training, though Fireman Sam is high up there too!! A night out when childless is better than yet another night in front of the telly! We didn't end up going to a quiz, just spent it in the pub, phoned for a taxi at about 12.30am, got told it would be 10 mins, kept phoning, getting told 'it will be there soon', 'it's on it's way etc', finally decidded at 2am to walk home from New Brighton to ours, off Poulton Road, in the pouring rain and got in at 3! Still a good night though!! Big shout out to satellite taxis for their help!
