Hi just wondering if there's an android app on the market for the forum. Even a mobile web page would do.
Thanks smile

This may be due to restrictions placed on you by your mobile network rather than your browser. Plus I don't think internet explorer exists for android. Would be the least download applicationever if so.

How does your phone use IE on Android? Only Windows Mobile and Windows Phone have IE. and for anyone wishing to slate it, IE Mobile is actually the nearest to a real browser on a phone, it displays everything like it would be displayed on a desktop PC and supports most modern coding laguages and formats etc, unlike cut-down browsers that are usually available on mobile phones.

I find IE Mobile handy for viewing some sites, though I prefer to use Opera Mini for general browsing due to its caching system (they call it Opera Turbo or CacheX depending what day of the week it is) meaning websites are 6x faster and use 6x less data on average. Before it was available for Windows, I used to run a Java loader just to use it.

So deffo just go with Opera Mini - there isnt a great deal it won't do - I know it won't do Flash, which is the main thing, but in the Windows Mobile version, if you try and view a flash element, it opens up FlashLite player to view it - so though it doesnt view within the webpage, it still allows you to view it.

More than half my posting is done using Opera Mini, including this post.

smile
