Yes, we purchased a trailer tent down in Turo about 4 years ago and camped on Dale's sight, I real nice place, but too far!

I'm a technician at AML, specialising in Vanquish. I have customers coming from all over Europe to have their cars maintained by me. Thanks to AML and their quarterly magazines, they have featured me on a number of occasions as the top man for their cars. I have travelled Europe servicing, diagnosing and repairing Vanquishes. Dealerships are more or less terrified of these cars as they can have their problems, so that's another reason why they tend to come to me. Often enough, dealers as far as The U.S contact me for support to assist in diagnosing a car. Yes' I love my job and even more, I love a big problem........ The perks are the roadtest's of course!

That sounds brilliant mate, the write up is quality aswell vini vanquish lol boss, spoke to my dad before both he and kev rember you well and give their regards out of interest how did you go about getting into AM, i'm currently in property consultancy atm but a colleague of mine told me Bentley are recruiting and give me a pdf applicatin form loads of positions for specialist technicians and fluid dynamics etc

Between 1998 and 2001, I was employed in a dealership in Marbella as a Jaguar technician. When Aston Martin launched the DB7 Vantage (V12) and sales rocketed, it was then, I was sent back to the U.K for training. I was the only person in Spain to have attended Aston Martin training. Sometime later, the king of Morocco's Aston Martin had broken down, so Aston had it transported to me. I diagnosed it and replaced the engine harness which meant practically stripping the whole car out! Then another car broke down in Benidorm, they also transported it to me which I fixed without further problems. So now I was under the radar. My Partner Sam fell pregnant in Spain and we decided to move back to the UK. It took just a phone call, but I still had to go through the interview.

Get that form filled in! Don't be put off by the big name brands. Even the big companies find it hard to get decent technicians. It's only difficult for school leavers. For fully skilled technicians it's easier than you would ever think. Send your resume along with the application form. As far as I can gather, the big names love what's on paper, so make it good mate. Keep me informed on what you do and remember you have nothing to loose by filling that application form in and having an interview. Good luck with it!
