A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car this afternoon. The incident, which involved a green Ford Fiesta, happened near to Birkenhead Central Station in Argyle Street South at around 2.05pm. The cyclist was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital to be treated for head injuries. Police have closed the road until further notice. SOURCE

Passed that on the bus - saw cop cars,ambulance and a person lying on the ground.
Traffic still moving around there within 6/7 feet of the person as it's on the main route for buses

Nasty road that, stupid place to put a pedestrian crossing too just after a roundabout.

Awful road that, when you come off the roundabout .... Someone ran out on me just there as I was driving round..
