Merseyside Police is appealing for help in tracing a man who went missing from the Wirral area yesterday.
Noel Sheehy, aged 56, was last seen by his family at around 6.30am. He was reported missing later that day at around 7pm.
Mr Sheehy is from Bennets Hill in Prenton,and is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with short, grey-coloured hair and sideburns and blue eyes. He speaks with an Irish accent.
He was last seen wearing a pink, long-sleeved shirt, navy blue trousers and brown, lace-up shoes. He is known to frequent Birkenhead Park and the Arono Park in Oxton but also travels to Liverpool for work.
The police and Mr Sheehy's family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are keen to trace him.
They are appealing for anyone who has seen him or Mr Sheehy himself, to get in touch on 0151 709 6010 and ask for the Wirral control room or call the National Missing Persons helpline on 0500 700 700.
