Trams were first used in birkenhead, in 1880. Does anyone have a ticket from back then?

I think you'll be very lucky to obtain any tickets that old. For information on old tram/bus tickets, I have found this site of help in the past.

Birkenhead Tram Tickets crop up at auction sometimes, but they are expensive!

I thought G.F Train introduced horse drawn trams to Birkenhead in 1860?

Nice one Stuy, you cheeky git.
Never ever heard of anyone having one of them tickets though. Keep finding MiseryRail tickets on our front but don't think anyone will want them. Should imagine the tram ones would be like gold dust if they are out there.

"Birkenhead Corporation Tramways" on the front of the old Bell Punch type tickets are just that - tram tickets and not too common. The one in the rack of tickets in the Bus/Tram Museum is an old bus one, "Transport" rather than "Tramways".

If you tripe "Birkenhead" into fleabay they appear now and again.
