I had a dream cast and it only lasted five minutes. A load of rubbish. Shame that mate, homebrew capabilities where what sold it to me, still have the old utopia bootup disks Soul Calibre was spot on ended up getting ported to PS but was a bit shite on that not sure why, didn't have the same SEGA feel to it

I still got a PSX, with Tekken 2 and RRT4... both games kept me hooked for hours when I was a kid, but RRT4, that was just immense, and the graphics were awsome for the day; one of the finest games on the PSX imho, both graphically and addiction-wise!
Quite like MGS and Syphon Filter was ace too!
Ahhh, they were the days lol.

If you're booting custom firmware for the PS3 you can load a lot of those games via emulators. There's emulators for those consoles on the PC as well I think.

Email sony sent me Valued PlayStation Network/Qriocity Customer, We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011, certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account information was compromised in connection with an illegal and unauthorised intrusion into our network. In response to this intrusion, we have: 1) Temporarily turned off PlayStation Network and Qriocity services; 2) Engaged an outside, recognised security firm to conduct a full and complete investigation into what happened; and 3) Quickly taken steps to enhance security and strengthen our network infrastructure by re-building our system to provide you with greater protection of your personal information. We greatly appreciate your patience, understanding and goodwill as we do whatever it takes to resolve these issues as quickly and efficiently as practicable. Although we are still investigating the details of this incident, we believe that an unauthorised person has obtained the following information that you provided: name, address (city, state/province, zip or postal code), country, email address, birthdate, PlayStation Network/Qriocity passwords and login, and handle/PSN online ID. It is also possible that your profile data, including purchase history and billing address (city, state, zip), and your PlayStation Network/Qriocity password security answers may have been obtained. If you have authorized a sub-account for your dependent, the same data with respect to your dependent may have been obtained. While there is no evidence that credit card data was taken at this time, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, to be on the safe side we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may also have been obtained. For your security, we encourage you to be especially aware of email, telephone, and postal mail scams that ask for personal or sensitive information. Sony will not contact you in any way, including by email, asking for your credit card number, social security, tax identification or similar number or other personally identifiable information. If you are asked for this information, you can be confident Sony is not the entity asking. When the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services are fully restored, we strongly recommend that you log on and change your password. Additionally, if you use your PlayStation Network or Qriocity user name or password for other unrelated services or accounts, we strongly recommend that you change them, as well. To protect against possible identity theft or other financial loss, we encourage you to remain vigilant to review your account statements and to monitor your credit or similar types of reports. We thank you for your patience as we complete our investigation of this incident, and we regret any inconvenience. Our teams are working around the clock on this, and services will be restored as soon as possible. Sony takes information protection very seriously and will continue to work to ensure that additional measures are taken to protect personally identifiable information. Providing quality and secure entertainment services to our customers is our utmost priority. Please check www.eu.playstation.com/psnoutage should you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Sony Network Entertainment and Sony Computer Entertainment Teams Sony Network Entertainment Europe Limited (formerly known as PlayStation Network Europe Limited) is a subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited the data controller for PlayStation Network/Qriocity personal data.

still using an Amiga CD32 since it came out back in 1993, my Dreamcast finally bit the dust a month back and i couldn't revive it, so i one uped myself and imported a Sealed Japanese Dreamcast instead, Also Got A Japanese Sega Saturn in White recently armed with a region bypass cartridge. the next bit for me is that i might as well finish the set and Import the Japanese Mega Drive & Master System.
If Anyone grew up with gaming with a Phillips CD-i...God help you.

Im surprised that once this happens to Sony, the entire world comes crashing down. Lets not forget,
1. People everyday get their personal information stolen on Windows Machines
2. The iPad was breached stealing confidential information from its customers.
3. Google got hacked by China stealing users confidential data and e-mails
4. Xbox Live was down for a full week in 2008
5. Google Android has malware in its marketplace which steals user information
6. People lose their personal information on Facebook everyday.. 24/7.
In my personal opinion, Sony just joined the fray. The other companies should welcome them.
Its funny how once a company sues a hacker and wins for protecting its content, people get mad and want to crush them

To be fair the iPad crack was a little bit different from the rest, it was poorly configured http servers on AT&T's side. AT&T wasn't actually broken into, those guys at goatse just wrote a script to hammer the server with ID requests. Plus the only user info stolen was email addresses. As far as Geohot and fail0verflow who leaked the metldr keys to the PS3 (which lead to geohot leaking the root key which is why he was sued), speaking as a PS3 owner that used the OtherOS system and does use custom firmware, he should have fought Sony instead of dealing with them. Which is precisely what he told everyone he was going to do and which is why I - along with thousands of others - donated to his legal defense costs. I don't think it's really fair to say Sony sued him to protect their content, they sued him to prevent an outcry from people who had something stolen from them under the guise of preventing piracy.
