Hmm if you want, PM me why its had a new front end if you want to keep it off the boards(I know it had one when I bought it).
Am interested but not at £700 for a car with problems as severe as piston rings. I'll have a think

doesnt bother me, it had a very slight bump when it was icey and danny (the new owner) decieded rather than having filler all over it to get new parts fitted, he hit a bollard near his work, putting a very slight dent in the slam panel so decided to change it, piston rings arnt a severe problem and for £700 its a bargin, you know that!

I spoke to the seller and I'll just add a few things, It needs a re-bore and not just piston rings, the engine was NOT fitted by me since someone is going around putting my name to that.
All front end parts are indeed genuine Ford

Nope I never fitted it, Bigcos aka Hibbert done it. I said I fit it in that post merely bcos it was less confusing to the person reading it, if I started talking of 'well I removed the Mondeo engine but didnt fit it etc etc etc' that it would cause 'un-needed' questions and confusion.
Rennie, rather than try and prove me wrong try giving hibbert a call - I cant believe you actually thought I fit it, I told you when we swapped I didnt, and thats how your old fiesta had my old engine - Bcos I left the 1.6 Escort engine at Hibberts bcos I had no where to put it
If you want the full story myself and a friend 80% removed the original engine, then his wife went into labour so I had to get someone to finish it for me - A few phonecalls later and hibbert was to the rescue, he collected the scort and set to
Everyone SHOULD know I never fitted it, bcos I mentiond it every chance I got. The only thing that would have led people to believe otherwise is that quote you have taken
