that was fantastic ! a lot of hard work put into a brilliant free festival. Some of the most amazing lanterns and some enourmous ones too !

I was all geared up for last year and it was cancelled - I think the weather was bad. I must put it in my diary for next year - looks great.

ps - Police reckon there were over 5000 people there

yeah easily, tbh the end was superb , they burned a skelton and ship effigy, got some ok shots of it but i had a big speaker in front of me , and there was no way i could move to get to a better spot..

Im sure i read somewhere that this years event was at risk, for cancellation? Money, i think. Looking at jabbers pix-deffo pencilled in for 2011!
