A CAVALCADE of 100 vintage and classic vehicles will journey through the countryside and villages of Wirral this Sunday, finishing at Port Sunlight Village Festival.
The Wirral Historic Vehicle Rally is one of Wirral's most popular vintage & classic car gatherings.
The cars will be split into six different classes, with a prize for each class winner and a seperate prize for ‘Best in Show’.
Judging is on a ‘pride of ownership’ basis and entrants are encouraged to wear period attire appropriate to the age of their vehicle and to display information about their entry at the stops that will be of interest to the public.
This year the morning run will leave Thornton Hall Hotel at 10.15am travelling to the Carr Farm for a lunch break and static display from 11.15am.
The afternoon run will start at 1.15pm and arrive at Port Sunlight around 2.10pm for a second display, with prizes awarded by Mayor of the Wirral, Councillor Alan Jennings.http://www.wirralnews.co.uk/wirral-news/...80491-26891055/
