OK guys, estimated valuation came through today for £150 for the lot, but they want me to travel to birmingham for a proper valuation and an inspection of them, apparantly thats the way the always do it.

To be honest, I cant be bothered travelling to Birminham to sell the lot for £150 so that they can make that back on 4 records alone.

I had to check the archive (under the bed) that mine hadn't gone missing then! We must have had the same taste in hardcore in the mid 90's.

Found about 5 old tape packs the other day aswell, a lot of the tapes are missing tho

I got that used to my belt drives, that when I even attempted to mix on directs it was like the grand national starting off, just couldnt get the hang of them.

Hi Waddi, I had one direct and the other was belt. Bought them at various times from Richer Sounds with student loans. I still think records sound better than CDs on good decks, but it's all gone laptop these days lol.

This is why I think the record companies owe us and are being punished by mp3 downloads; £25 for a single record - it was robbery, but we still paid it.

Used to do my own mixes to tape and play them on the 600w amp I had in the back of the mark II fiesta 1.1L. Sounded like I'd locked someone in the boot to kick the back panels.
