dead easy use a peice of metal gasket to block it off.

the EGR is to warm the engine up quicker and therefor lower emmisions from cold.

ideally its ment to lower fuel consumption.

PM me i have some metal gasket sheet we can sort something out.

Some people say their cars run quicker? This is on the 1.8/2.0 vectra's.

Maybe it's down to mind?

It recirculates exhaust gasses in to the intake - you think thats good for combustion?

I removed it on my last BMW and it felt smoother, more powerful and made less black smoke.

Unfortunatly I cant remove it on this car as it flags up an error on the IDrive, if I could remove it though, I would!

Did it on the 420 as everyone does, and it made it a bit more responsive... nothing major, but certainly something.
